I coded my tail lights to come on with DRLs. I feel this should be standard on all cars along with front DRLs. Especially for the idiots who don't turn on their headlights at night (assuming the DRLs are the headlights I guess) and thus have no rear lights.

Yeah it's based on the light sensor. Orange is easier on the eyes in the dark than white light.

I added a matching OEM trunk light on the left side, wiring it up to the existing light. Got it on Ebay used for $10. Much nicer to have light coming from both sides. They should have had a light above the trunk area similar to the rear seat light.

No, but I checked with a flashlight and saw some dust (and found the ambient light sensor there for both displays - not sure what the one by the A/C controls does). The dust does not show up under normal use though. I would be careful since you could damage the LCD if it's glued to the screen...

Put it in EcoPro and EcoPro+ modes and see how many miles the range shows compared to Comfort mode.
