12V battery issue... maybe overcharging issue?

In May 2020 I had the 12V battery replaced in my car under warranty. Last friday I smell a sulfur smell coming in the climate intake vents. A quick internet search said this was almost certainly the 12v battery, but being an electric car and fires being scary I took it to the closest dealer...

Seat heater stops working every ~one drive in 20

So, randomly, so far only at seat heater level 3, my seat heater will turn off and not work for the rest of the duration of the drive. Next drive it's as if nothing happened-- works perfectly. I assume this means it's not a short in the seat heater pad, as in other cars a short in the seat...

What is the charge rate of reduced speed 120V charging?

Currently constructing a house, and will be living in an apartment in the interim. There's only one plug I can use (120V), and it pops the breaker if I don't use the reduced rate option. What is the KW/h rate, when you're in reduced rate on 120V? Thanks!

Anyone had success ordering the 10.25" screen from Ali Express (or anywhere) recently?

Put an order in last week and it got refunded yesterday. Now everywhere I search for Chimei Innolux 65509306743 it comes up empty. Anyone have any leads?

Which versions of the AC compressor have people had failures with?

I noticed there's been 5 different versions of it, updated in 07/14, 11/15, 07/16, and 11/18. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=1Z23-USA-02-2014-I01-BMW_i-i3_60Ah&diagId=64_1978 I'm curious which versions people have had the expensive failure with/how comfortable/uncomfortable I...

Pondering the notion of using an i3 as the basis of a home hydroelectric power setup. Why is this a bad idea...?

I'd like to set up a home hydro electric generator and house battery. Annoyingly, the traditional components to do this are pretty crazy expensive. That said, used i3s are cheap and seemingly have almost all the components I'd need on board (everything other than some gears and a transformer)...

Drove my 2017 BEV ~400 miles on Saturday

This weekend I went up to CT to help a friend put his M3 back together. This was a total of ~400 miles, between the drive there/back and going out to lunch/dinner while there. I don’t generally plan to use the i3 for long trips, but since I was babyless and had never used the fast charger port...
