Bmw has replaced my front strut tops but the clonk remains. I shall do some investigation this weekend as I have some more ideas where the source could be.

I have the same. Dealer has changed the two front struts but no effect. 😳 Although this is the same dealer that told me that my i3 needs the pressure of the engine to run the aircon 🤦🏻‍♂️

So my fix was just confirmation bias on my part. clonk is still there. I'm wondering if its the ball joint but not really sure how to check.

I did a trawl through the posts on the German upgrade from 60Ah to 120Ah and he actually said last week that after selling the old battery the upgrade cost him 5K Euro... That is a pretty good price if you ask me. I just can't wait (fingers crossed) until there are some after market options.
