    Shade for Moonroof

I have leftover of these in my attic... https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/38752784 I just cut 2 pieces of 14" x 17.5" and placed it above the fabric sunshade, worked like a charm. Low cost too! And because they're flexible, they can be easily stowed in the car when not in use!

    Panic braking

US laws with headlights, dynamic brake lights, rear fog lights, side repeater signal lights are all screwed up and are in the stone age! They're actually BEHIND the rest of the world... they're still dealing with counting maximum watts allowed for headlight and front fog lights (hence not...

    Shade for Moonroof

Does anyone have a solution to this 3-year old question?

    Panic braking

Replying to old post but so far, I haven't seen "even though the i3 stops really well, what happens to the car behind it??" - *Smashhh is the experience I got...

    Blind spot warning system?

You can replace both outside mirrors with European BMW aspherical mirrors that has a divider line for the "blind spot" section. I did that on mine, and at the same time, upgraded them with auto-dimming function (my i3 came prewired for them). You can find them from European eBay sellers. Here's...

(Review) RGM Rearguard vs. tailgate scratches...

Just be careful when ordering. There are 2 different versions (sizes). The RBP846 fits 2013 - 10/2017 The RBP858 fits 11/2017 onwards. I ordered the WRONG one (RBP858) instead of the RBP846. So anyone on the stateside (Texas) interested in getting this (RBP858) [11/2017 on] size, feel free to...

    Rear-Fog Switch Retrofit (U.S. i3s)

In my years of living in UK, Europe, Asia, Canada and America, I have never seen any BMWs with BOTH rear fog lights activated from the factory. This is just a theory, maybe if you DON'T try to activate BOTH lights? Just activate the one on driver's side?

Can't decide on buying the i3

Adding a 500Hz PIAA horn in parallel to the factory horn is a $55 affair from Amazon, and installation isn't that difficult at all. The end result will be a full "standard BMW horn tone". I see most issues online happen with REx models. So the BEV's are probably a better buy in the long run. My...

    Rear-Fog Switch Retrofit (U.S. i3s)

I've been wanting rear fogs on all my US-spec BMW's for ages. Buying the correct switch is easy. Coding is the deal breaker for me since I have yet to find a place or person who can do it successfully/reliably for me. I hope someone would come up with a solution for this. Meanwhile, for those...

(Review) RGM Rearguard vs. tailgate scratches...

I just ordered mine on eBay UK. Total cost including shipping and tax (yes, unfortunately) was £99.59. I think this is a better deal in terms of shipping. But lets see if it arrives. Estimated mid July.

    Any mods

Just joined this forum and saw this topic, so my apologies for being late to the conversation. I have a 2014 i3 BEV. Here're the things I did as minor "mods" to make it more user friendly to me. 1. Horn addition - the i3 somehow comes with only 1 horn while other BMWs come with 2 (Hi/Lo). So I...
