Drivers wiper won't clear over 85mph

Thanks for the replies, after a busy couple of weeks I am going to start with new Bosch wipers - current wipers are of uncertain vintage and unbranded. Next problem is finding the right wiper. My car doesn't have the front distance sensor and so I think I need 28"/700mm and 21" . For drivers...

    Replacing front wheel bearing how-to

Happy days. I work on all my old cars so I am used to brake jobs as well as generally trying to persuade 30-40 year old fasteners and assemblies to separate. A four year old should be a walk in the park! Where could I find torque specs?

    Replacing front wheel bearing how-to

Hi folks, here's irony for you. The morning after I click buy it now on a set of winter wheels for my 2016 REx, my car does that slow helpless slide to hit the curb on a downhill patch of black ice. I was doing walking speed on an urban back street. Dammit. Front left wheel, it was quite a...

Drivers wiper won't clear over 85mph

Thanks, you have a good point, a hydrophobic screen treatment should be a no brainer especially on an EV. I have used rain-ex a few times, its ok for summer rain but it doesn't survive the screenwash additive even from one salty scottish motorway trip, So I would like to try ceramic coatings...

Drivers wiper won't clear over 85mph

Hi, searching doesn't seem to show this as being a common issue, but I thought I would check here before replacing my wiper blade or changing the parked angle of the blade. When I am doing 85-95, (errm, in Germany), and wash/wipe the screen, the drivers (RHD) side of the screen doesn't clear -...

i3 REX (2015) locking and unlocking by itself while driving

Just to close the loop, the problem continued and then usefully I started getting a door open alert for rear left door too. I cleaned up all the latches and gave the spring loaded sensor some exercise, and shut the door like my kids do (like a bull elephant that took a run-up) - and the problem...

i3 REX (2015) locking and unlocking by itself while driving

Hi, OK thanks. Mine is doing it all the way through the journey - turning tight rights sets it off mainly. I have the post purchase warranty and so will report back when the fault is found.

i3 REX (2015) locking and unlocking by itself while driving

Hi, my 2016 REx has just started doing exactly this. I suspect an issue with the car, like the drivers door switch or a sensor, not the key which is sitting on the passenger seat minding its own business. OP did you get to the bottom of the problem?
