That was my point. It is too close for comfort on the rear. I had a rear flat on a trip and had to put the front tire on the rear to make it home. At least I didn't need a tow.

The brakes don't seem like the issue to me. Here is a 17" rim and there is inches of room in the front. The other pic is of it in the rear and how it does not clear the suspension. By the way, i only use the spare on the front.

I have done some measurements on this. I know that 17" fit with plenty of space in the front but 18" and maybe some grinding of some mold flash is required in the rear.

Many have said that the top buffer is only about 5%. That is still to high a charge level to stay out of the accelerated aging range around full charge. My point of saying that is the ABC (Always Be Charging) recommendation is bad advice.

My best advice for you is go get some Rain X or equivalent. I find that that the rain sensor wipes more than needed with the Rain X. I often turn off the wipers if I am going fast enough for the air to clear the windshield.

Another thing you might try is the "Activate Comfort Climate" setting. Turn on the car without pressing the brake pedal and activate that setting. It should be in the vehicle settings.

Finding charging takes a little planning. Plugshare is a good app to help find charging sites. Waze also has a function where you can specify your vehicle is electric and the charge plugs it takes. It will find charging points along your route.

I have only had an issue when the BMW EVSE had a fault during the night. Other than that I have not had this issue.
