    Shadowline (gloss black) Grille DIY

I've always found the chrome/satin grilles to be ill-fitting to the laurel grey i3 considering they are the only silver trim bits on the exterior of the vehicle. Fortunately, you they can be easily removable and wrapped in gloss black vinyl. Here's how. First, begin by removing the four torx...

    Coding the i3

Is the general consensus still to not have the dealership update the software if we want to maintain our ability to code? What do the latest updates address? Are they anything related at all to range or energy usage?

    Coding the i3

If I install this "update" here: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/connected_drive_services/mobile_devices/bluetooth_software_update.html Will this update interfere with the I-Step or any of the ESYS related coding components of the car?

Anyone else hate the i3 navigator?

I live in Los Angeles and I find the navigation with the live traffic updates to work just as well as Waze. The routes direct me to routes I would normally take on my commute to and from work. My route preferences are typically Eco pro and to avoid tolls.

I had the same issues as you. I downloaded the missing cafd files at the link below and was able to proceed with coding. I hope this helps. http://www.bmwesys.com/guides/Missing%20CAFDs/

New i3 owner saying hello (picture inside)

Just wanted to say introduce myself to my fellow i3 owners here. I am looking forwards to contributing and learning from all of you. It's a laurel grey bev with the giga world and everything on it (park assist, technology + driving assist, Harman Kardon, and the dc fast charge option ) except...
