Thanks both, that's enough to convince me... they look great in the dark, surprised BMW didn't do this from the outset.

I agree. When looking at the options, the light carpets don't look practical for real world use. Good to know the dark carpets are available as a spare.

One thing I've noticed with the loft interior is that the material seems to stretch for protruding parts of clothing... such as the studs on jeans or if you're wearing a thick jumper!

On a side note, is anyone willing to splash out £90 on a "segmenting box" for your front compartment?
