Record camera video

With the Technology and Driving Assistant package the i3 comes with a front-facing camera, and with the Parking Assistant package it comes with a rear-facing camera. Can video from these cameras be recorded and saved, e.g. for the purpose of having evidence in the case of an accident?

I don't think that's possible. You're better off hardwiring a camera.

I don't think the video is a standard format, and, is passed on the CANBUS, not via a coaxial line (i.e., it is serial digital data, not analog video).
