I’m getting a scraping noise from the back of my 2014 i3 when I start driving. The noise goes away after a few seconds. This happens whenever I start driving after the car has been parked for more than a few minutes. Anyone encounter this issue?

I've also had this for a while. Sounds like a very quiet cymbal roll, and I only hear it inside my parking garage (which is generally very quiet) - so it was impossible to replicate it at the repair shop with a busy road outside.

Have you checked the surface of the disks for rust (both outside face and inside)? If the disks were wet/damp when parked up, it's common for enough rust to develop to scrape on the pads - the difference on an EV is that it's quiet enough at "idle" for you to be able to hear it!
