Anyone else experiencing a kind of groaning noise from the steering at low speeds? It only seems to happen for me when it's really cold out, say under 35 degrees F. At first I thought it was just the sound of the tires turning on the road surface but the more it happens it really sounds like it's coming from the passenger side of the steering rack. Really noticeable in parking in parking lots and it's easy to hear both in and out of the car.

Yes it's a known issue. I had it addressed this week. It involves lubricating spring pads under the hood. No more "hamsters" moving around in the dash.

This, there is a service bulletin released regarding this issue in cold weather. Quick and easy fix, no disassembly required :)
