trying to set up email via connected drive but no joy

all seems logical/simple to set up but keep getting this message...any help/point towards similar issue on the forum much appreciated

It's a gmail account, IMAP is enabled - don't think I'm missing anything obvious.

I must say that to me having emails and/or texts on the car’s display is the same a reading them on the phone. Which means it is illegal and dangerous when driving. At best it is an unnecessary distraction.
