Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a slight (maybe 1 or max 2mm) lateral free movement in the front left wheel when shaking the wheel by hand. It makes a dull noise, but otherwise no other noticeable symptoms, even when driving.
It only happens when the steering is totally in the straight position, and only on the front driver's side wheel.
I looked on this forum and another user reported this a few years back and also posted a video of it https://vimeo.com/253073679 (video is from the other user, but symptoms are exactly the same in my case).
Several parts have been changed (strut mounts, shockes, bearing etc.) but this slight "play" has remained.
I am (together with local BMW shop) wondering whether this is something normal or commonplace in other i3's too.
Anyone noticed this too?
Thanks!
