Is that a BMW interface module or aftermarket? Do you have a link you can post?

That looks very interesting! Does this use the iDrive controller or do you have to mount a separate controller? Hopefully you will post back after your install and let us know how it went and how you like it.

I just upgraded last night. Purchased it on AliExpress, coded it with bimmercode and was done in 10 min!

Such a huge difference, I have owned my i3 for about a month now and couldn’t stand the small screen. I couldn’t stand the huge bezels on the 6.5” it drove me insane lol

Not only is it more aesthetically pleasing but the wider screen allows it to be more useful with all the options on the idrive. This will be especially true once I install CarPlay.
Do you have a link to where you purchased? I cannot find any on aliexpress.

Anyone know if RoadTop/JoyeAuto/Bimmertech hardware will work on a 2018? Later production date so it’s Entrynav2.
And if that will work is the 14-17 widescreen compatible?
I have a 2018 later production with the smaller screen and looking to get Carplay at least and ideally Carplay + widescreen.

 Just an FYI that as of 2/24/21 there seems to be absolutely not a single 10.25” screen available anywhere. I spent days trying to locate one, as I am purchasing a used i3 and HATE that smaller screen. I was so excited to learn that I could easily upgrade for less than $500, but alas....sigh....it doesn’t seem possible. If anyone has any leads on a larger screen PLEASE reach out! At this point I’ll just try and find one on EBAY.

I just bought a slightly cracked functional one for 380 free shipping. The only other one looks like an elephant sat on it for 800. I had been looking for weeks on eBay.
