I'm pretty sure it's not worth the effort. They left it off because of nasty RF interference with AM radio. Just for the ell of it, I bought a good quality AM radio and tried it all over the interior. Terrible interference!

Many states have laws about misrepresenting used car specs. He told you it had fast charge, that's a verbal contract, in California, he'd have to take the car back.

Thanks for the write up. I also have an early i3, it's a REX Tera. I hardly ever use the REX feature. My car stickered for $54k before haggling and the two tax benefits. It's now pretty worthless even with only 12k miles. I'll wait for the facelift and buy a bed this time. I do love the car!

Wow, I'm impressed! How did you diagnose it and find the root cause?

Just picked up my car from the dealer for the fuel vent recall and software update. They added the clip to keep the vent tube from rubbing and my software was already up to date since it was updated when my motor mounts were upgraded. So, that update seems to be the latest software.

I have no idea what this new update is about.

The attenuated regen braking occurred after the software update with the engine mounting bolt replacement.

Me too, I'm finding it difficult to time lifting off the accelerator to come to a complete stop in traffic. I have to use the brake more.
