Yes it's a known issue. I had it addressed this week. It involves lubricating spring pads under the hood. No more "hamsters" moving around in the dash.
I've had both. After a software update I've had no drivetrain errors and only get battery warning after the car has been plugged in for 12+ hours. Both will be fixed by the next software update.
I live in the Dallas, TX area and expect to see no SAE Combo chargers until 2016. Why?
Well I'm in oil burning SUV driving Texas. I was shocked there are electric vehicle rebates in Texas. I live in a 2 EV household. We have a 2013 Leaf and a 2014 I3. There is much more support for the Leaf...
We are a family of 3. We brought our Britax car seat for the initial test drive with our 3 year old. All fit fine. She is now 4 and in a Diono Radian RXT Car Seat. Initially she was on the drivers side as I thought it would be easiest to buckle her in. I'm thinking of moving her to the passenger...
I initially bought the Tire and Wheel protection assuming it covered surface damage and blemishes....it doesn't. I live in Texas. In the last 18 years of driving I've had 2 flat tires. I've never bent a wheel. I cancelled the policy about a week after I bought the car.
FWIW I sold a 2010 Prius to get my I3. I kept the custom fit Prius window shade and am happy I did...it fits the I3 near perfectly.
As far as cupholder mine is a Tera and was ordered with the "smokers" package. I had an extra cup holder in the center armrest that fits the holes you mentioned.
Depends largely on market. In the Dallas, TX area there isn't a huge demand. BMW of Dallas took $3640 off sticker without me even asking. The car had no dealer add ons. In and out in under an hour.
This is my first plug in and first BMW. This is our second EV as we recently acquired a 2013 Nissan Leaf SL.
I did get a little "weak" and bought a REX. We were going to keep our trusty Prius and get a BEV, but looked at the numbers and it made little sense to keep the Prius for the 2-3 110...
I had 37 miles on mine. It was special ordered months ago. When it arrived the couple test drove it then had second thoughts as the Terra wasn't "environmentally friendly". I was happy they passed as I was able to snap it up with no wait!
I ordered mid-May. Dealer was able to modify a I3 already in cue. I ordered a BEV Terra with all options except no 20 inch wheels.
Went into Production July 10th, finished July 18th. Currently awaiting shipment to the US.
Production order 0723108.
Download an app called Plugshare. It covers all public and private charging locations. It's very handy as users leave reviews, tips and photos of units.
I only took one photo and I'm currently on the road. I can take more this weekend when I return.
If you look in the lower left side of the windshield by the registration sticker (Texas currently has TWO stickers) you can see the difference. The installer left a rectangle in the tint so we can...
