Picked up my i3 BEV Solar Orange Tera World all options / 19" wheels on 7/29 and went to my friends commercial studio for a quick photo shoot.

Finally born electric 7/29/14, picked up my car from the dealer tonight under cloudy skies. Got to test out the automatic windshield wipers.

Just talked to the dealer and the truck has not come in and they don't think it will today. Major disappointment, several more days of waiting.

My i3 was released from vehicle processing center and is on the transport truck heading to my dealer. Hoping to pick it up tomorrow if the transport truck gets in early.

Looks like I will be taking possession of my i3 Tera BEV Solar Orange all option w/ 19" wheels this Saturday if all goes according to plan. Look forward to posting some of my BEV experiences.

Definitely agree with you here as most non sliding visors are about useless when the sun is blasting through the side window.

I placed an order last week using my dealer's allocation and he gave me the production number later that day. He said I could expect the car mid August, I hope he is correct. BMW website says my order is documented and is waiting to begin production.

This will be my first BMW, coming from a Honda CRV. Never consider a BMW until they came out with the i3.

On 7/03 I ordered a fully loaded i3 Tera World with all the options except 20" wheels BEV, got 3% off. Now I have to wait on manufacturing, was told at dealership it should be approximately 6 wks. Dealer said it was one of their allocations.
