Not in my test drives... I was behind regular 2 taillight vehicles... was even behind a semi truck-trailer with all its tail/marker lights on, my car still didn't see it

So they still aren't working properly then if they aren't making a tunnel for cars directly in front... same behaviour as mine.

Ya it feels strange that 8S4/5AP need to be physically removed from the VO, but perhaps their presence were causing my issues... because yes, changing the codes changes the behaviour of the lights, but they were definitely not behaving properly... so maybe it's confusing to the car that it has...

The three HBA codes are anti-dazzle 5AP... the AFS and LUT_FLC are 8S4

I don't see anything different in this video that our cars don't already do... thats just the auto-levelling self-check upon start up...?

The interesting part in this video is he's not just changing whats checkmarked, but adding in a numerical code with that change. And in the other video, removing 8S4 and 5AP in the VO coding might be the missing link for all of us just using Bimmercode... I have an OBD-to-ethernet cable, guess...

Yes I changed those 3 codes from alohart many months ago... thats what i'm saying, I believe those 3 codes are not enough

Ok so here’s the code I chose to change, it was on I001_disable… i’ll do one at a time and see what makes a difference. What do you suppose GRHB stands for? Glare Reducing High Beam? This code was located two positions down from GFHB (Glare Free High Beam) in the LaMaster 3073 expert coding list.

Mine have been fine since new, alignment looks great, on low beam I’ve never been flashed, other than when cresting a small rise and the oncoming car doesn’t realize the road undulates.

Left to right alignment is fine, the lights are unmolested and very factory fresh as my car only has 26000kms on it.

UPDATE - I finally ended up on a good 30min 2-lane rural road drive in the right conditions to test the lights. Something isn’t right, I got flashed a couple times and it’s not recognizing vehicles I’m following. The lights are definitely doing some of the matrix work like leaving the shoulder...
