Hi guys,

just a short new thread to celebrate our twentythousandth mile :)
It's been real. Not without troubles, but never so grave as to leave us stranded.
Room for imporvement: lots. Second thoughts: none ;)

Regards and whirr on !

Hi guys,

the 19" summer tires were changed @ km 26000 due to a light 'whooping' noise, not unlike the 20 inchers, but much, much more subdued and only in combination with specific types of asphalt. Nevertheless, Bridgestone wanted to test a new set on my car, hence the change. I had driven 20000 km (12345 mi) on the first set at that time, I drove the first 6k km on the winter set (starting in feb '14). There was hardly any wear apparent on the 'old' summer tires.

The oil of the REx has never been touched, AFAIK, unless it had to come out when the torsion axle between the gasoline engine and electric machine was replaced.

Regards, Steven
