This looks like a press release.

http://www.bmwblog.com/2013/08/02/b...ries-coupe-bmw-concept-active-tourer-outdoor/

Visitors to the show will be able to drive i3's around the track.

An interesting sentence within the press release ......

"visitors can also take a seat in five differently-configured BMW i3 cars on the “BMW i Walk"

........ OK we have 4 different interior Worlds ....... so what's the fifth?

Loads of stuff from the Frankfurt show.........

Great Pictures.

A video showing the indoor track. Mind you the presenter says the i3 has a 3 cylinder engine..... where do they get these people?

link stopped working ...... maybe they realised what nonsense he was talking..... (EVO)

Nice work Parker, thanks!

Glad the pro nav is a freebie in the UK, judging by the standard nav in this pic: http://cars.uk.msn.com/motorshows/frankfurt-motor-show/bmw-i3-stars-at-the-2013-frankfurt-motor-show-1#image=8

Great Links folks!

I'm now in two minds about the standard non met grey scheme - the front end looks a lot more bulbous because it is no longer broken by a contrasting driving light moulding.

the rear has black contrast but front end is grey plastic around those lights.

I don't normally like white cars (too much to clean!) but i3 looks ok if a little like a Panda bear !

Good vid.

So what's this graphic showing us ? : http://youtu.be/c_RgTacQLa8

The wheels light up when braking so that's regen back to the battery, but the motor seems to light up when accelerating and also when off the throttle ? Unless the direction of energy flow is changing to show charge in and out of the battery ? (not the clearest video). Does the ActiveE have a similar graphic ?

Oh and you get to see your wiper mechanism in motion too Parker :D
