I have had my i3s for just over 7 months now. I had always fancied one and figured with BMW stopping production, if you wanted a relatively new / low mileage one, then was the time to buy.
I really like it and still get excited about driving it.
It is such a great city car - very manoeuvrable and easy to park.
If there were one thing I would wish for, it would be a little bit more range - I am not a fan of using public chargers as I have found when you need them, it can be difficult to find one that is available.
I think of it as an iconic car - and love the carbon fibre construction and all of the little things that BMW did to reduce weight.
It is a very comfortable car for 4 people and I think the performance is excellent too - very nippy acceleration.
The ride is a little "choppy", but in some ways that adds to the fun of driving it.

Hi, Just acquired a standard version i3 and would say 'me too' about nearly all your points. Really like driving it - it's what a 21st century car should be. With public chargers, I have found many of the older ones really frustrating, either u/s or needing obscure sign-ups, cards and so on. The new rapid chargers now coming in, with the required contactless payment, seem a different kettle of fish. They are being installed in numbers at some sites, so there's always a space, and they're easy to use. We just need more of them. One good sign is that the Blue Diamond garden centre group has a policy of installing them - there's a brand new bank of them just outside Hereford, with loads of room and about ten chargers. I think we may see more national businesses following suit. Anyway, hi again (from Hampshire) and all the best. Peter

Thanks for the recommendation Oldsparks. They have proved really popular. The ride in ours, and from what we hear, made our rear passengers start to feel nauseous after a while, so we had to do something about it.
