Just been checking out routes, charging and parking options for my new job. Just found out that if you have an EV then London Midland parking is free at all stations.

Shame they don't have an EVSE too, but it's still a saving of £1,500/ yr. Cool.
I'll be doing a mix of train and car so i don't end up going crazy sitting in traffic on the M6/M1. Only been doing it 3 days and already had snarl ups twice so instead of 1h15 is been 2h10 and 1h50.
Glad i stuck the driver assist + on options now. Monday morning was atrocious only got above 40mph twice .. once between m69 and m1 and northampton after the road works ended. Still in an EV that will extend the range a bit.
