Instrument cluster not turning off

I'm pretty sure that both screens used to turn off when I hit start/stop a second time, now just the idrive screen does and I think the other goes off after like 15 mins or something.

Is there an option to make them both turn off besides locking the doors?

Odd - I thought mine did as you suggest it should, but it doesn't.

On mine (2021 S) the "BMW i" logo stays on and (presumably, I didn't wait that long) goes off after 13/15 minutes.

Yeah it's possible I'm mistaken that it went off too but I vaguely recall taking note that it did and it seems hard to miss.
