Hi guys,

has any of you suffered the same kind of detachment of the little rubber flaps of trim that accommodate for the adjustment of the steering column ?

The type of adhesive tape they used seem like an error of judgement. Some foamy kind of adhesive tape would have been a better idea one would guess.

I'm sure it will be solved without ado at our next visit to the service center, but it is a sort of silly problem to occur...

Have you confronted BMW yet with this problem ? You can't expect a 50k€ car being assembled with ducttape...

Hi XXL,

yes, our i3 will be @ the dealers at the end of the month to fix this and resolve the lingering fuel filler flap issue we're having.
I would rather have liked to see them use a more sophisticated attachment system here too...

Regards, Steven

well always better a small issue instead of

- AC not working
- car breakdown
- drivetrain breakdown
