Does BMW recommend against doing this?
I arrived at a charger today at the same time as another i3 owner, and said "do you want me to plug you in after I'm done, or you me?" and he said "oh no, you shouldn't plug in while locked" and that was the end of it.
I googled a little bit, but couldn't find anything (most of the responses were complaints about the connector being locked even after finished charging).
Anybody heard anything about this, or was the guy just confused? Or am I unwittingly treating my car badly for letting people plug in while I'm locked.
