Any one with any experience in resetting the CEL on an I3?

I was coding my car and when the system restarted after a change to turn the rear lamps on with DRL in the BDC_Body Module, the CEL came on.

I tried Tool32, part of BMW Standard Tools 2.12, to check. It has a code 0x3F which translates as "Initialization Error." The car seems fine. I could not clear the codes using Tool32 as it had no entries in the job section that you have to use to clear the codes. I used instructions from http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=877896. It uses F01.prg Is this the correct one? Any help here appreciated.

I have ordered a BlueDriver Bluetooth OBD dongle to see if I can clear it using their software. On their web site they indicated that they support the I3.

I used a cheap OBD scanner to reset it in a REx I was driving for a few weeks - it didn't return for the next 600 miles. I gave the car back after that.

Here's the scanner I used: http://www.amazon.com/Autel-MaxiScan-MS300-Diagnostic-Vehicles/dp/B001LHVOVK/
