Squeak in dead pedal

Am I the only one that has this problem? When I put pressure on the dead pedal (the foot rest left of the brake pedal), I get a squeak. Any hints on how I can fix this problem? Thanks!

When plastic rubs against plastic, noise should always be expected.

Placing a soft material on one side of the joint's surfaces should get rid of the squeaking.

Check out a local craft store, self-adhesive felt may be a big help for what you're looking to solve.
