on my prev 530D i could 'bounce' the corners of my car

just tried this on the i3, nothing, like it's solid

guess it has always been like that ??

done 75k miles, should i get 'better' shocks or leave well alone, yes i am aware the ride is 'hard'

Depends if you are planning on keeping it. It won’t be particularly cheap to change them. You can look for misting. If you’re replacing, then definitely renew the bump stops too. Up front the ARB links will usually be worn too. With the front dismantled, pay particular attention to top mount bearing, as they dry out or get aluminium oxide corrosion.

This video gives all part numbers.
