Level 2 home charger interupts charging

My 4 year old Charge Point level two home charger has started to turn off after about 10 or 15 minutes of charging. If I plug in the charger at 9pm, the dash shows charging completed at 11pm. When I check again, the flashing light is off and the charger reads "charging complete." If I take the charging plug out and reinsert it, the dash says 5:03 am. When I go into charging settings, the departure time has be set to 5:03am and I have to reset it in order to charge the car.

This has happened several times. Charge Point says that there is nothing in their charger that can change the settings in the car, and BMW says that it is not the car, it is the charger.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

May be worth asking your dealer if they will install the November software update which has new charging routines to see if that helps. Tell them that your off-peak charging fails, the software is designed to fix that.
