    Coding the i3

    Don't give up so easily. All you need is psdzdata 54.1 and the eight missing CAFD files and one missing FAFP file. I bought my obd cable from compubuildernet on ebay. He provided the files.

    Successful Coding after KLE and software update

    Thanks Tomasz and others. That fixed the gas gauge problem. I succeeded in generating a CEL in the process of updating the codes in the modules. The code is 0x3F which translates to "Initialization Error." The vehicle seems just fine. I tried to clear the code using Tool32 but no success yet.

    Pathetic charging of i3 compared to B Class Electric

    Then there is also the big tail off, where the last 15% takes 90 minutes instead of the 30 min it would take if the power uptake were not reduced. I suppose one can also excuse that as being better for the battery. But, the Tesla supplied system in the MB B class Electric does not seem to need it.
