Hello,

I bought one month ago an i3 2019 120 Ah, Lodge, imperial blue with HK, sport pack, sunroof, 25000km.
Lodge is the French name for the wool and leather interior.
I test drive it at the bmw dealer, I like it and bam !
I use it to commute, with only 20km each day the small battery is not a problem. I charge it the night, one time by week is ok.

I'm happy with the motor, but a little bit confused by the damping, despite the fact it's the sport pack like the i3s, it's too soft for me. I put Bilstein B6 on my other Bmw, but it's probably too hard in this case, maybe I will try the Evolve Bilstein.

That's a nice shade of blue. I don't believe that was ever offered in a US market i3. Nicely complements the interior.

The color of our dirty 2019 U.S. i3 in the attached photo is Imperial Blue Metallic, a color that was offered in later model U.S. i3's. In anything but bright sunlight, it appears to be almost black. I'm not a fan of really dark paint colors, so I wish that it were a bit lighter in color.

Our i3 also has a Lodge interior which is included in the U.S. Giga World trim package.

Hi Oliver, I had the Evolve dampers fitted by Evolve as I live locally to Luton, the different was incredible, steering is great, road holding is great and the ride is much improved and not so choppy ride

Hello,

I bought the evolve-bilstein dampers and the springs, delivered in 3 days.
I m waiting for the miscelleanous parts from bmw-hubauer, but i have no spare time for the mounting for the moment.

I install the wokeby euro ccs type 2 protection cover. In my windy area i was not convinced by the original caps.

I discover a problem with the tyre repair kit, the bottle is not as described on the compressor.
The original bottle seems very hard to find.

You're probably fine . . . original covers were ok with EF1 tornado wind-driven rain in Kansas. Pretty Wizard of Oz here that night! Sideways rain coming from the charging flap side of car . . .

Using the sealer in the bottle can apparently damage the inflation pressure sensors and make a real mess inside the tire which could make patching the hole more difficult. Many prefer using a tire plug instead. A plug kit can be carried in the frunk and used to seal the same type of punctures as the sealant in the bottle, sometimes permanently, or at least until a proper repair can be made.

Buy a tire plug kit instead of a bottle of sealant.

Hello,
I'm agree with you alohart, i use the tyre plug since the 90' and i put a kit in the frunk.
But it's sometimes difficult to use, depending on weather or road condition.
The bmw dealer is at 1h from my home, and of course the part department is closed when i could be there. I buy parts from an online bmw shop in Germany but they don't have this i3 bottle.
The bottle in the frunk kit is for an other model of compressor.

About the standard charge port cover, i'm not worried by their sealing capabilities which is ok, but when i charge the opened caps were bouncing in the wind along the body. The hook is not able to secure them during 50mph wind.
