DC Charging retro-fitting?

Hi all

Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit the DC charge option on an i3. This is the only omission I made which I wish I didn't as a DC Charge network does seem to be coming on line now.

Every place this was mentioned says it cannot be done due to internal battery components. I also asked my dealer and he said the same, so I added it later to my Rex at a cost of $700 and a three weeks penalty...

What bxb40 said. Have you ordered a REX? If so do you really need the DC rapid charge?
