Hi, have the 2014 US model.

I use the right and left arrows on the dashboard to rewind/fast forward a number of seconds during podcasts on my phone.

It works great but was wondering if there are any tricks to using buttons on the steering wheel to accomplish the same function without the long reach over.

Best wishes!

It wouldn't surprise me if someone has come up with a software change that did this, but I've simply reverted to keeping the radio/media screen active on eth center display and using the iDrive control knob to skip tracks.

(I use this approach with my iPhone, I don't know if it works with Android)

I push and hold the voice command button on the steering wheel until Siri activates, then I give a command like "Skip ahead one minute" or "Skip ahead 45 seconds".

The podcasts I listen to have predictable ad breaks so this usually works well, and I don't have to reach to the far side of the dash to hit the FF buttons.
