i3 Rearguard

To anyone interested, RGM now offers a Rearguard for the i3. I had inquired with them at the beginning of this year and they got back to me yesterday to let me know it was now available.

They offer the plastic version:
- black costs £61.73 (including vat and carriage)
- silver, brushed alloy look or carbon look version costs £72.94
- the order code is RBP846 (I don't think it's on their website)

I got one of these for my E91 a few years ago and its a really nice piece, well made.

I got one of these for my E91 a few years ago and its a really nice piece, well made.

By coincidence I too received an email yesterday advising of the availability of "Rearguards" for the i3 although they have been on sale for some weeks. I am going for a carbon black which I have seen on an i3 and looked good.

Unfortunately, its too late for mine! Pity BMW did not fit something like this to start with as the paint seems quite fragile!

They used to offer this in the USA, but apparently stopped. I made one from some felt and canvas and some twill tape for about $10 US instead, but theirs may end up covering more...mine covered what I needed!
