Hi guys. I currently own a 2012 Prius C and was hoping to add a BMW i3 to the stable. I've been kind of obsessed with it the last week. I came upon this deal on BMW's website:
$279*/month for 24 months.
• $4,574 Cash due at signing
◦ $279 First months payment
◦ $3,500 Down payment
◦ $0 Security Deposit
◦ $795 Acquisition fee
• Included in payment: $2,000 Build-Out Cash, $5,500 Lease Cash, included in payment.

I optioned my car as Laurel Gray Giga World I3 with range extender. MSRP $49,250

Here's some background on me. My credit score is in the 700s. I'm a USAA member ($500 incentive). I'm thinking of negotiating with the dealership for mileage: 15k/year $250 payments with $3,000 down for 30months (2years 6mo). Why 30mo? There's a CA rebate of 2500 I can apply for but I need to have the car for at least 30 consecutive months. https://energycenter.org/clean-vehicle-rebate-project

So the total cost for 30 months = $8,000 with CA rebate. Thoughts/advice? I really appreciate it.

Looks good, the best deal I've seen is around $270/mo with $1995 down - But the reality is depending on the area these 2014's need to be moved -

Mega is more likely for that goal payment but you might be able to find a wheeler dealer

Thanks. I know I'm rolling the dice on this and it comes down to logistics and willingness of the dealer. In the past I've had to call directly and ask for the sales manager. The last car I leased in 2008 had me calling 7 dealerships before I got the price I wanted.

I just wanted to update on my purchase. I worked with 3 dealerships. They all gave me a price pretty similar. I went with bmw concord after talking to the gal on the phone. I couldn't get the usaa incentive bc the car was "punched in" and that no dealership can. I called and asked another dealership and they said they could get me the 500 usaa incentive effectively lowering my payment. Anyways, I trusted concord so no incentive, and got I think a good deal...the assured me no one is making money lol.

Msrp 49,050
30months
.00125 money factor
3k down
377 payments with tax
I'm also getting a $50 charging card
I have to apply for 2500$ credit so that saves me another $80 bucks

I have more details but I'm in class so I gotta be sneaky
