Unable to change tracks via steering wheel

When I have my Nexus 6p connected via Bluetooth I cannot change tracks via the scroll wheel. Toggling the wheel just give me a "Not Possible" error. I know this works becuase on every other BMW, toggling the wheel brings up arrows that you can scroll up or down to and select which will change the track. Anyone know and workaround orbcoding function?

This may or may not help...check www.bmw.com/update to verify that you have the latest software for your entertainment system. If not, update it (only takes a couple of minutes) and see. You'll need the last 7 of your VIN to ensure it searches for the proper version.
