Wallbox Pure - extra functionality?

Hi all

After about 6 weeks of ownership I've decided to get a fast charger put in at home. There have been number of times when I've not made a journey in the i3 because of slow charging speeds at 10 amp. The question is does the Wallbox pure from BMW add any functionality compared with the competition, in particular during our cabin warming?

From all the comments I have read on this forum there appear to be no extras in the(vastly oversized and expensive) BMW EVSE. If you are in UK you can get an EVSE fitted for free or for about £99 is you want the 7kw version - and you probably will.

I have a Chargemaster EVSE and it works just fine with my i3. It is the 7kW 30A one with an integrated cable and cost me £95. It is also lockable with a tubular key.
