Windscreen reflection

Anyone else irritated by the reflection of the recycled scuttle panel in bright sunlight?

The reflective fibres make the screen look dirty when the sun shines.

I'm wondering if it's practical to get it sprayed or wrapped matt black.

Yes - although at least with dirt it can be removed with screen wash and wipers. I have provided feedback to BMW including a request for a black marker pen to colour in the white/grey fibre bits.

I picked up on these fibre reflections which were a little distracting but then I noticed a rather more annoying reflection in the drivers wing mirror. I was seeing a shiny chrome strip every time I looked into the wing mirror. It is the air vent knob immediately next to the door. If the vent is aimed down then its invisible but once you aim it onto the window the chrome is visible.
