    Replacement / weatherproof portable charger?

I'm the same mate, charged a couple of times now in the pissing rain with no issues. Looks waterproof to me. Surly is with our climate.

So good i'm thinking of leasing a second i3...

Was thinking Rex but if the MY16 will go further then it would have to be a BEV and she can use that as her daily commute is only 30 miles max. :D Have also been considering the B-class BEV as its the same price but doesn't stand out :?:

So good i'm thinking of leasing a second i3...

So having leased the i3 rex for the missus I'm now thinking of selling the gas guzzling Mazda and leasing a second i3. I've not really driven the i3 much since it arrived but when I have I've really liked it. Its only been these last 2 days were I've been able to use the i3 for my daily commute...

Does the car still draw current when fully charged?

As above, does it shut off using power once fully charged?

Does the rex required regular or premium fuel?

    As above....thanks in advance.

    Defer Rex maintenance cycle

Just go into setting every fortnight or so and select range extender - hold current charge and run for a couple of miles, the maintenance cycle will never kick in then.

    Regenerative Braking = Motion Sickness

I really don't get this thread, as above just regulate the accelerator pedal to coast. I expected the regen to much more aggressive TBH...bit of a let down really after reading all the reviews on it. I was expecting to hit a brick wall when letting off the go pedal at motorway speeds, its more...

Finally arrived but with a few concerns..

Cheers mate. Thought it may have been down to my driving style TBH, just love that warm wave of torque at lower speeds. Currently averaging 3.9 miles/kwhr which is exactly the same as the community.

Finally arrived but with a few concerns..

Just arrived last Wednesday and I love the car. Its a rex in capparis white. When it got dropped of the car stated 80 miles ev range and 80 miles rex range which is exactly what i expected. Unfortunately now the car only states 62 miles once fully charged, this is from a normal 3 pin home socket...

    Newbie saying hi...

Grrrrr, its been put back to 5th of October now due to "manufacturing issues in production"

A short vacation in an i3ReX covering 451 miles in a five da

Nice write up. We also travel to Devon for our Summer vacations but from Liverpool, unfortunately the i3 will not be suited for this, not because of the range mind but the lack of space for all the crap that comes with a toddler. The 27mpg (motorway cruising) Mazda does the job fine but at...

    Newbie saying hi...

No mate defo won't regret not getting the DC option, i'm guessing i'll never use a public charger in the 2 year lease. The Mazda will always be the long hauler due to size.

BMW may have to up the ante soon...

Lots of hate on this forum for the Tesla, in my opinion they're stunning. Just come back from Amsterdam and seen a shit load of them and even had a look around the Tesla showroom. I don't know how anyone can say they're "fugly" :o again in my opinion the i3 hit every branch on the way down the...

    Newbie saying hi...

Not long now, been told delivery will be 14/9 :D It will get dropped of at my work in Manchester so I can drive it all the way home to Liverpool just to hand over to the missus  I'm hoping I don't love it otherwise I maybe ordering another....
