Just go into setting every fortnight or so and select range extender - hold current charge and run for a couple of miles, the maintenance cycle will never kick in then.

Just arrived last Wednesday and I love the car. Its a rex in capparis white. When it got dropped of the car stated 80 miles ev range and 80 miles rex range which is exactly what i expected. Unfortunately now the car only states 62 miles once fully charged, this is from a normal 3 pin home socket...

Have you properly give the cord a good yank? Read a post recently with the same issue and once the guy gave it a good pull it opened. Worth a try.

I'm guessing someone made a big mistake buying the i3 outright and wants shut before the 2nd hand prices plummet, they've probably lost £8-9k in 18 months so far.... :(

I'd love to use the i3 for longer journeys but the amount of shit we carry down to Devon each year is ridiculous and the i3 wouldn't get a third of the stuff in the Mazda can. The 3 will be for the missus in business hours and my toy for evenings and weekends. Seriously looking forward to it...
