Am I near the bottom yet?

Why/how do you get the $2450 back at the end of the lease? (lease newbie here) I would ask what dealers you're working with but I had already spoken to another member and he told me exactly what his deal was and where he got it. Despite going to the exact same dealer, they didn't give me the...

    Electric Cars Value Tumble (WSJ)

I'm a newbie to leasing. How would the residual value change at the end of your lease? I was assuming that if I'm given a residual value of $29k right now when I sign my lease, then that would be what I agree to pay after the lease if I want to purchase it.

Am I near the bottom yet?

Seems about on line with the best deal that I'm getting : $1k down, $452/mo including tax for a car with MSRP $50,150. I can't help but want this deal for a fully loaded REx. I've also been keeping an eye on all of my nearby dealership's inventories and none seem to be able to get rid of their...

Leasing a Rex Model - is this a good deal?

I think a 30-month lease is a better bet than a 2-year because there won't be good replacements in 2 years (my speculation) so you could end up with no good options after the 2-years is up. There are a lot of companies making lofty EV promises. I know that I don't want a Bolt whether Chevy is...

Good dealership to lease from in San Diego

Would it be possible to share the quotes that these dealers are writing up for the people who have gotten these great deals? I don't know what the etiquette or ethics are over that but it seems like pretty much every dealer is willing to match another dealer's offer if they see the quote for...

    First impressions

Nice to hear comparisons between many EVs. Did you get a chance to try the Rav4EV before they sold out? Big car with quick acceleration and the longest range. It had a cheap feeling interior but it was definitely a very well done package. I was once recommending TDIs also but it depends where...

    Giga vs Tera World

Thanks for the replies and definitely a good observation, jcaponeg. I do like the look of the Tera too but mostly when matched with certain exterior colors. There are so many whites sitting in dealers lots right now and I prefer the Giga look with the white exterior. If the right spec'd white...

    Giga vs Tera World

I've been looking into lease offers and am coming across offers for similar vehicles with the only difference in options being Giga and Tera world trims. For Tera owners, is there anything specific that made you choose that trim? Are the leather seats any more comfortable? All leather is nice...

    Questions and clarifications

    1. I believe comfort access refers to the car automatically unlocking based on your proximity, so Mega owners have to manually press the button on the key to unlock/lock the doors. Not a huge deal if you haven't already been spoiled by comfort access yet.

    SoCal lease deal

Oops sorry haha. I had been looking at so many deals in the past few hours that I forgot you had listed the MSRP details. I'm hoping to bite the bullet soon once I do some more math.

BMW Debuts New, All-Electric BMW i3 Commercial...

I'll join the "what a waste" group. When I try to sell the concept of electric cars to friends and coworkers, I don't focus on the saving the planet aspect or that the cars are made sustainably. I tell them about how fun it is to drive with all that torque and not having to switch gears. That's...

    SoCal lease deal

Thanks for the tip. What was the MSRP for your setup? I got a quote for $10,745 total payment for a $48k vehicle. Also newbie question: the lease deals include the $2,500 CA rebate, correct?
