Got an i3 on order and now thinking about accessories. I asked in the dealership for a catalogue but they said they didn't have one yet.

Does anyone have an online link to a page with them listed?

Also has anyone ordered any with there i3?

Hi all, reading your previous comments I can confirm the light grey/beige mats in the loft/lodge interiors suffer terribly with dirt and within a few miles look awful! I can recommend the all weather mats and they actually look pretty good too although slightly slippery when wet!

We got the all weather mats but took them back because they are very slippy when wet. They do look good for rubber mats but are smooth on top. Instead we got black carpet mats that would come in an i3 with the standard interior.

How much did they charge for the rubber mats?
I believe they're £74.

How did you manage that? I've only had mine for a day and I can confirm that the beige mats suffer awfully with dirt - the sort of dirt that doesn't vacuum off. Do you have a picture of your interior with the dark mats (or even the rubber ones for that matter)?

I didn't take any photos of the rubber mats but can confirm they look the same as on the BMW website ( although they appear in the photo to be a single mat like the carpet ones, but are in fact two individual mats, but this isn't an issue). For the carpet mat your dealer can order one for you. They fit in well because the carpet below the mat is the same colour, so they just blend in.

From memory they were around £100 for the front and back. The all weather rubber ones are bought separately (front and rear) and are more expensive.

My "all-weather" mats can be seen here for the rear ones :

and here, for the front :

They do come in two parts each but they look as one once placed.
They are slippery when went indeed, but the peace of mind, compared to the original mats, is worth the slight inconvenience.

Links are broken!

I popped to my dealership this afternoon, they had one of every accessory except the charging cable (so I bought the glow in the dark key cover, it's rather nice). Took a look at the all weather floor mats and wasn't overly impressed - I was expecting a textured surface. It's just completely smooth and will probably scratch / scuff easily if you bought any stones (or sand) into the car - especially when it's not wet.

That said I'm not 100% convinced not to get them yet, I'd quick like to see a picture of your car with the standard black mats please Atommad! :D

Ok, I give in! Tell me how to get a photo from my iPhone to the forum and I'll take care of it. But I have to warn you, they are black carpet mats, on........ black carpet! They are identical to the light coloured ones that came with the loft interior, but black!

As I mentioned earlier our dealer let me take away both sets and try them before deciding, you may wish to do the same. My problem with the all weather ones is the smooth surface as you pointed out.

Quickest would be to email it to someone (me) and I'll post it for you.

Otherwise, there is a little howto here, but you need the photo on a computer first: http://www.mybmwi3.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=419

I'll send you a pm with my email address.

Photo sent to i33t, thanks for offering to post.

Be warned, shock photo, black carpet mat on black carpet coming up!

What was cool was when I got to the car in the garage with iPhone in hand to take the photo and realised the car was locked and I had left the keys in the house. I was just about to go back in to get the keys when I remembered the remote app and unlocked the car with my phone. I genuinely thought I would never have a use for that feature! Nice to use a gadget.
