hi,

just tried the PA on the i3 and it works great. However i'd like to know if it also works when there is no curbstone ? I read somewhere there needs to be a high curbstone ?

I put up a video in this thread: http://www.mybmwi3.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=623 which shows you don't need a kerb, as i think the car uses the other cars to judge where it should go. However, that brings other problems, as it can leave you miles from the kerb if they are; or worse, scuffing your wheels if they're too close...

...or in a hedge as I found with my 5 series. All the other cars were narrower than a 5 so I ended up perfectly parked with a 2 inch gap to the hedge. Climbed out through passenger door ( couldn't go the other way as it was a one way street).
