Red flashing light on charger

I wonder if someone could confirm what LEDs are on on the granny charger when it is not attached to car...

I get pulsing 3 red flashes on "fault" which I guess is not normal or good news...

It's not got wet or been knocked and worked last night...

Is it a type 2 mode 2 charger...
