Voice control

Hi all of a sudden the voice control has stopped working, when you press the voice button on steering wheel the microphone symbol appears on central screen and it beeps but when I ask it to call someone it returns to the previous screen. I feel that something is turned off but can’t find out what, has anyone come across this before ? The Bluetooth is enabled and my phone is connected.

Might your BMW Connected Services subscription have expired? One of the services included in this subscription is Online Speech Processing. I don't know whether this just improves speech processing or whether it's required for any speech processing to occur.
