I'm finally getting to upload some of the pics I took at the premier. Sorry for the delay but I've been really busy with work the past few days:

Thanks for the pictures Tom, especially the one with the back seats down. I had been wondering about how much carrying space there would be. It looks like it beats a Mini by quite a bit.

For awhile there, I thought that the back seats would not fold down at all which would be a deal breaker. The early photos of the concept showed the seats integrated into the side walls.

BMW says a little over 260 liters which is slightly more than 9 cubic feet. However there are many ways to calculate the volume and no standard way that all manufacturers use. Therefore it's never apples to apples. You get different measurements depending on which method you use. I would have assumed all manufacturers have to use a standard method but I was told that is not the case. Someone else could use a different measuring method on this car and get 10 cubic feet of volume. Strange.

How's the leg room in the back seats? Would a 6-footer want to sit behind another 6-footer?

Yes, that's quite possible .... I would say there is more rear room than a 3 Series maybe not quite as much as a 5 Series, and if you tip the front seat forward (there's a lever in the head restraint) its probably easier to get in and out than either of the standard cars as you step in, rather than down...... and as there's no B pillar so there's nothing obstructing your feet getting in/out either.

Here's a picture of two guys sitting in the i3. The seat is pushed back quite far and the person in the back seat is about 6 feet tall.

I am 5 feet 10 and had no trouble seating in the back of a BMW i3. The guy in front of me must have been around 6 feet also.
I was really surprised by the back space in the i3, there is so much more space than in normal cars! :D

My preference goes to the Lodge version, it is so comfy and so different from what we see in other cars!
